The Rajya Sabha on Wednesday passed the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2019, in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was passed with the help of 165 administrators.
The bill tries to give 10% reservations in helped and unaided organizations to the monetarily in reverse from upper positions. The bill was passed 323-3 in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
The Upper House casted a ballot against sending the draft law to a select panel, Hindustan Times detailed.
Prior on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he trusted that the Rajya Sabha would “regard popular assessment” and pass the upper station amount bill.
